Lead Sales Executive - Dutch speaker

The Lead Sales Executive role mixes the management of existing accounts in London, Mainland Europe, and Middle East & Africa, with the closing of new business in the territory. The successful candidate will form strong partnerships with our most important clients and will close sales in order to meet his or her individual/team quotas and company business objectives. The candidate will maintain relationships with clients at the senior management or executive level. Success in this role will depend on the ability to generate business with new clients as well as generating additional business with existing clients. Sales efforts are directed toward both internal and external Distributors of market data.

  • Analyze territory to identify areas of opportunity and focus on the development of sales, retention, and marketing initiatives to support target region, with the ultimate aim of driving revenue and generating business with new clients as well as with existing clients.
  • Close deals in order to meet individual/team quotas and company business objectives.
  • High level of interaction with customers/prospects within own territory.
  • Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the customer’s senior management to understand customer needs and link them to Nasdaq products & services.
  • Take ownership of problem resolution if customer issues cannot be solved through normal channels.
  • Proactively drive implementation of products and coordinate communication, maintenance and new development across Nasdaq relevant business units.
  • Track sales efforts (calls, meetings, events) through use of CRM and other sales applications.
  • Support development of new data products and enhancement of existing data products as a liaison between assigned firms and Nasdaq product management staff.
  • Work with marketing on developing strategies that drive usage of Nasdaq data products.
  • Represent Nasdaq at professional industry group meetings, seminars, and trade shows.
  • Provide strategic input to the product development and compliance groups within Nasdaq.

Role Requirements:

  • Education Required:  Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing/sales
  • Experience Required:  At least 5-10 years
  • Occasional work outside of regular business hours
  • Some foreign travel
  • Fluent language skills in Dutch and English required
