Accounts Receivable Clerk - Netherlands scope with fluent Dutch
We are currently looking for an ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK - Netherlands SCOPE with fluent Dutch to manage our portfolio of Dutch customers. You will be part of our Accounts Receivable Team for Nilfisk's BeNeLux France Cluster based in Budapest. We are offering the opportunity to dive into our AR processes and learn and develop within the role. The ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK - Netherlands SCOPE is responsible for collecting and recovering payments on time from the customers while ensures that the customer accounts are up to date.
Main responsibilities:
- Communicate with our clients daily
- Track and resolve outstanding payment issues
- Own, report and proactively escalate any queries preventing payments
- Assist in clarifying unapplied cash
- Resolve billing issues and address customer invoice queries
- Identify delinquent accounts to be written off or placed with collection agency
- Prepare and contribute to various AR reports
- Provide credit check and release blocked orders
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with various stakeholders on all business levels
- Participate in various ad-hoc Group projects to improve order-to-cash process
- Work closely with the in-country AR experts to ensure alignment in daily work and on all initiatives
Experience and skills:
- Approx. 3-5 years proven experience as an AR Clerk/Credit Controller or similar finance role
- Experience within a Financial Shared Service Centre is preferred
- Sound accounting and Excel skills
- Fluent English both orally and written
- Fluent Dutch is also a must
- Confident user of MS Office Tools and SAP
- Proactive and hands-on mentality
- Secondary school certificate is a must, BSc in Finance & Accounting or in Business Administration is an advantage
